The 2009 McDonalds Kentuckiana Spring Classic Series presented by Apex Therapy (KSTS) starts its 29th year of existence in 2009 as one of the most well known annual cycling events in the Midwest. Starting the first weekend in March, KSTS will attract riders from IN, KY, OH, MI, WI, TN, IL and WVA who will brave the early spring weather to get a start on their competitive cycling season.
The McDonalds Kentuckiana Spring Classic Series presented by Apex Therapy consists of eight (8) events that take place in various cities around Kentucky and Indiana and is arguably one of the most important race series for many of the teams from the states that are represented in the series.
The Series is promoted each year as an important opportunity for new teams and team members to familiarize themselves with new equipment and each other for the upcoming season.
In 2009, KSTS each event will be a Lance Armstrong Junior Olympic Series event in addition to the regular categories.
If weather conditions are deemed too bad for racing we will indicate that with a Racing is OFF image at the bottom of the website homepage and in the series community on BikeClicks.com.
These events are all sanctioned by USA Cycling (USAC).
