For the entire final race weekend of the McDonald’s Spring Classic Series races, there will be a total of 4 separate prize cash payouts:
1. McDonald’s Capital City Crit. individual category cash payouts on Saturday, May 16th (see race flyer)
2. Norton Commons Crit. individual category cash payouts on Sunday, May 17th (see race flyer)
3. WEEKEND SERIES (combined two races of McDonald’s Capital City Crit. and Norton Commons Crit.) cash payouts on Sunday, May 17th
4. OVERALL SERIES OMNIUM individual category cash payouts on Sunday, May 17th
WEEKEND SERIES
McDonald's Capital City Criterium & Norton Commons Criterium Weekend Series Prize Payout:
For the combined two races – (1) McDonald's Capital City Criterium (5/16/09) and (2) Norton Commons Criterium (5/17/09)
There will be a guaranteed minimum $1,000 for this WEEKEND SERIES individual category cash prize payout. This is comprised of Louisville McDonald’s contribution ($500), and ($1) a dollar per racer at McDonald’s Capital City Crit. and Norton Commons Crit.
Racers will are eligible for prize payout in more than one racing categories
This Weekend Series will be based on accumulated points from the combined two races above
Promoters reserve the right to shorten, modify, cancel, or combine any race or prize list in the event of insufficient entries or bad weather. There must be twice as many racers as there are places paid.
OVERALL SERIES OMNIUM
Prize Payout (includes all ten (10) McDonald’s Spring Classic Series Races):
$6,000 minimum guaranteed. Pass the word. A lot of this is coming from the dollar per racer, so we need racers!

NOTES AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
To qualify for prizes racers must hold a valid 2009 USAC Racing License
Races will be scored and points posted according to USA Cycling Rule Book Road Points
20. Omnium (from the USAC rulebook)
202. In case of a tie on total points, the tie will be broken in favor of the rider who has:
(a) The most first place finishes or, if still tied, the most second place finishes, etc., or if still tied;
(b) The highest placing in the last race, or the race nearest the last race of the omnium in which at least one of the tied riders placed.
